About the event
Come and make a beautiful, transparent glass on glass mosaic. Come with a printed design for an 8” x 10” project, or make it up as you go along! Your piece will be made with pieces of stained glass which are cut and glued to glass (or plexiglass, if you prefer, for a lighter weight piece). This is not a copper foiled stained glass class, but a fun and stress-free art workshop with an emphasis on creativity and relaxation.
**This class runs from 9 AM - 1 PM, there is a 1 hour break (so glue can have time to dry), then grouting from 2 PM - 3 PM. Take this hour to go out to lunch in our cute downtown!
$60, including all supplies, a ready-made frame, and a complimentary beverage and snacks.
A few safety items: Please wear closed toed shoes (no flip flops). Nobody likes glass in their toes. Also, if you don't wear glasses, I have safety goggles that must be worn when cutting glass.
If you have any ideas for a design, that's great! If you don't, that's great, too. Some people like to have a visual to look at for inspiration; some like to just make it up as they go along. I have many art inspiration books to use, if you are unsure.
